Geoffrey Heath has a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications from Unitec School of Art and Design.

In 2004, he was the joint winner of the Trust Waikato National Contemporary Art Award judged by Sophie Mcintyre.

He has exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions throughout New Zealand

since the late 90s including at Room 103, Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts, Peter McLeavey Gallery, Blue Oyster Gallery and the Physics Room.
